i forgot to mention these two things:
1. remember this blanket? when my mom and i went to rutherford house, we took a tour after our tea, and there is an adorable science-of-sleep-esque blanket on hazel rutherford's bed! instead of red with white stitching, it is white with red stitching. it has funny cute little animals all over it. sigh. i've been meaning to make myself a quilt like that for a long time. maybe when i have a home...
2. i'm bored of all my music. recommend some for me!

Rural Alberta Advantage - played with them in Toronto & Halifax, just came to Edmonton for the first time a couple weeks ago. When we went on my birthday roadtrip around southern ab we listened to the album a lot. I forgot to tell you about them. Anyway, the singer/songwriter grew up in Edmonton but now lives in Toronto. He fell out of touch with everyone but family and wasn't expecting the show at Brixx to be that well attended. It was packed! So good. At the end they played acoustic, standing in the middle of the room. You could tell he was really overwhelmed and happy. Pitchfork rated them an 8 - yay canadian indie! it's surprising to see the difference that favourable pitchfork review can make even in edmonton.
