seventh week in DC

on sunday i bummed around DC and went to see "to fly" at the imax theatre at air & space.

i didn't do much during the evenings that week. i had to tutor cree every night because i wouldn't be around to do it on the weekend.

work was fun. one day, some visitor from the north brought down a ton of reindeer sausage, ice cream made from fish, and muktuk (whale skin & blubber). because of my dislike for food from the sea, i only tried the reindeer sausage. it was good, but mostly just tasted like every other kind of sausage. for some reason, this was all coupled with an option of mango juice or piña coladas. i chose the latter. good choice.

another day at work, my coworker ben and i played hacky sack in the office. it's hard to focus on anything else in that last hour of the day. ben also recently got an ipod touch, and he has been downloading silly applications and playing with them at work. his favourite this week has been a collection of 6 different kinds of guns. he loads up the revolver with one bullet and then makes a sad face and pulls the trigger. guns and suicide are not funny. but russian roulette with an ipod is pretty funny.
