highlights from the week of february 1st-6th:

-delicious warm granola with bri on monday morning.

-my crush asked me out for tea on monday.

-walking around with kim and putting up posters on monday evening.

-doing tons of different kinds of work (editing, sewing, tutoring, data entry for the cree language project) that i really enjoy and get paid well for.

-hanging out with natasha, nathan, and some silly boys at natasha's on tuesday.

-buying a super cute coat from cinder + smoke, on sale! (mine's navy, although i would have preferred the green pictured here.)

-my pattern drafting class, where i continue learning neat things about how to fit fabric on bodies.

-a 3.5-hour-long tea date with my handsome crush at steeps on whyte on thursday.

-butter chicken with bethany on friday.

-tea and cookies at jenni and shamira's (although the date was cut short because i felt very very sick because of the jerk chicken salad from "the greenhouse" that i had eaten beforehand). those girls have moved, and now it takes just 6 minutes to walk from their door to mine!

-a 6-hour-long hangout with my handsome crush on saturday. we went to the farmers' market, bought vegetables, and went to his house. he made us some pretty incredible curry with chicken, and afterwards, we walked around his neighbourhood, came inside, drank tea, listened to records, talked about travelling, and confessed our massive crushes on each other.

conclusion: it was a good week.
