monday, march 24: worked at the ledge from noon until 5. called j.j. to ask if she wanted to go for vanilla cokes at dadeo. i have my parents' car for the week while they're in mexico, so i picked her up. dadeo was closed, so we went for plain cokes at fatburger and also stopped at home depot for hardboard (for collaging) and a staple gun.
tuesday, march 25: listened to i'm from barcelona's "rec and play" on repeat on my ipod all day. it's so happy! class class class.
wednesday, march 26: talked to my CSL prof about my final project. i think i'm gonna write about communal trauma. it seems to really sum up my experiences in native studies this semester. had cree and CSL class. some dude brought in watermelon, and between that and a warm classroom and happy music on repeat, i feel like it's time for summer. j.j. and becky and claire and i hung out at steeps and exchanged boy stories. i think i would rather have stories than have boys. good thing i'm an english/native studies major. hel-looo, oral tradition and an overemphasis on narrative! i also finished doing a ledger drawing for my aboriginal art class. it's about my most awkward moment. you know what it is.
