stelmach announced his new cabinet last week. tt consists of 4 or 5 more ministers than his last cabinet, and two new ministries of particular interest to me: aboriginal relations, and housing and urban affairs. my inner jury is still out on how i feel about these.
since this post is about politics anyway, and in case you've been living under a rock, I think it is important that everyone know that voter turnout in the recent provincial election was 41% of eligible voters, and the progressive conservatives won 87% of the seats in the assembly (72 out of 83 seats) with only 53% of the vote. if you didn't vote: SHAME.
and a non-sequitur update for the hell of it: i bought a new aluminum water bottle on the weekend. goodbye, carcinogenic type-7 plastic water bottle!
