when we were younger, my mom had this awesome countdown-to-christmas kind of thing for us girls. we each had this cardboard chimney, which had a santa on top and was filled with 24 numbered boxes, which my mom would fill with treats and little presents for every day of december before christmas. sweet. so i don't have that right now, but i AM counting down my days to edmonton by eating one package of cookies a day. i bought 2 12-packs (each pack has 6 cookies) a week ago, and i am using them to keep track of how much time i have left here. only 17 more sleeps!
