sometime in the last week i heard that one of the guys involved in that plot to terrorize JFK airport was a former MP in guyana. good thing that news didn't come out a couple months ago. my parents would have freaked.

on tuesday i went to soccer, and for a while there was just me and this other 19-year-old boy there. he kicked his ball and it hit the top of the chain link fence, got a hole, and deflated. sad. two kids, no ball. but then some other boys came and we played a bit. the mood was already ruined. i went to trivia afterwards with megs and her mom and another lady. the answer to one of the questions was "guyana," which i knew, because i lived there! wow, thanks, international experience. i can already see how well you are serving me. i think we came in last place again, but one of the girls we know who works there gave us a coupon for free ribs. who needs knowledge when you can take pity and have the same benefits?

i bought a computer and an ipod online on tuesday, and the computer is supposed to arrive TODAY! wow, canada post! you never cease to amaze.

emily got a hot new haircut and has a great boyfriend and i have neither. i'd be lying if i said i wasn't a little jealous. oh well. i have a sewing machine and a pretty tight relationship with canada post. i'm pretty sure hoardes of girls are envious of me.
