i've made a truce with my fascinations

just now, i was doing a bit of reading just outside the u of a library, when i saw six little sticky notes stuck to the window. the first five spelled "marta," and the last was a little note that said, "we went to the rm. CALL -------." i was pretty sure i recognized the number, so i called it, and it turned out to be kaylin's! she had left these cute little notes for her group-mate, and i found them in a place that i have never ever sat before! i like us. we are both busy, so we couldn't talk long, but we made plans to leave cute sticky notes all over the city once exams are done. some will be notes to the finder, and some will be pretend notes between pretend people that have hopefully interesting stories or words in them. then people can imagine what is happening. i would like that if i found one of those notes.

also of notable mention:
-a while ago, i was on the bus and the sound of the signal light on the bus blinked IN EXACT TIME with the countdown of the blinking light at the crosswalk. i am ALWAYS hoping for that in traffic, and it never happens. my heart was so satisfied.
-when i hung out with emery last week, we were talking about magpies and how many there are in edmonton, and RIGHT THEN we saw a GREY MAGPIE. i did some internet research, and it turns out that edmonton is the only place that has really made note of any grey magpies, and that about 6 of them live in edmonton, and they are all thought to be decendants of one imperfect-albino magpie. i felt really special to be able to see one of them! he was so pretty! i am maybe going to make a stencil of a grey magpie. i mean, a stencil of a normal magpie, but paint it grey.
